Background:
Mon graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University Business School in 2007 with an Honours degree in Financial Services. Upon graduating, Mon pursued a career in banking, working for both Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays Bank. Whilst at Barclays, Mon spent over 5 years working within the Commercial Banking division as a Senior Business Relationship Manager providing help and support to SMEs in the region. Mon joined Gracechurch Wealth Management LLP in October 2014 to embark on the next stage of his career. He successfully completed our Academy Development Programme in March 2016 to become authorised and a regulated Independent Financial Adviser at Gracechurch Wealth Management LLP.
Specialist Areas/Areas of Interest:
Mon advises his clients in all areas of Financial Planning and Wealth Management. He specialises in Savings and Investment Planning, Retirement Planning and Protection advice. Mon works very closely with his clients to develop a long-term plan to help them achieve their objectives. He takes time to develop a deep understanding of what they need, their goals as well as their aspirations for the future. Mon primarily deals with the financial planning affairs of individuals and families including children as well as businesses and trusts.
Industry Qualifications:
Mon holds the Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA) and has also acquired a specialist Level 6 Award in Pension Transfers (AwPETR) qualification in relation to Pension Transfers. Mon is currently working towards attaining Chartered Financial Planner status which is one of the highest accolades within Financial Planning.
Outside of the Office:
In his spare time, Mon enjoys travelling the world and experiencing different cultures and sampling their cuisine. Mon’s passion for seeing the world led him to spend 3 months alone travelling all over South America in addition to 3 months in East Africa, India and South East Asia. As a way of relaxing, Mon enjoys going for long walks in the countryside with his fiancée, socialising with friends and family and he can often be found hacking his way around a golf course! Most weekends are spent watching his beloved football team as a season ticket holder at Arsenal Football Club.
